1,377 books and manuscripts digitized by the Bodleian for the Polonsky Project are now available on Digital.Bodleian. This includes the Greek manuscripts and incunabula that have been unavailable since the Bodleian's hardware failure at the end of April, as well as a number of newly digitized items. The recovery of the Bodleian's digitized Hebrew manuscripts is currently still ongoing, but will be done by mid-September. The recovered items have been redigitized with richer metadata and more accurate image colour profiles, and they will soon also feature IIIF manifests and image endpoints to allow comparison with other institutions' collections (including the Vatican Library's) and viewing in such popular tools as Mirador and the Universal Viewer.

Bodleian staff are grateful for researchers' patience and understanding during this long period of unavailability. We would also like to thank Dr Matthew McGrattan, the Bodleian's outgoing Head of Technical Strategy and the architect of Digital.Bodleian, who masterminded the recovery process. Please contact emma.stanford@bodleian.ox.ac.uk with any further questions about image availability or access.
