This is a ninth- or possibly early-tenth-century portion of Genesis in the version of the Greek Septuagint. It is written in a sloping uncial script. The manuscript was acquired in 1853 by Constantin Tischendorf, professor of theology at Leipzig and discoverer of the Codex Sinaiticus, who sold the Genesis portion to the Bodleian in 1855. Additional stray leaves are held in Cambridge, London, and St Petersburg.
